The South Fork Museum of Natural History is located on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton. This museum will serve as an educational resource for the East End's natural history. A year-round program of hands-on nature education in the field and in the museum's Nature Center is planned.
Repository of Natural History
Through its collections and library, the museum will serve as a repository for biological and geological material, anthropological artifacts, and natural history ephemera such as writings, photographs, and works of art relevant to the natural history of the area.
