    April 21, 2018 - April 22, 2018 @ All you need to do is select an area of public property such as a park, beach, trail, or roadside that is in need of cleaning.

    Join Councilwoman Christine P. Scalera for the 2018 Great East End Clean-Up, taking place on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 Individuals and community groups are welcome to participate. Southampton Town will provide the garbage bags and a free pass to the Town recycling centers to dispose of the refuse. A limited number of pick sticks are available on a first come, first serve basis.

  2. Creative Arts Contest

    The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Creative Arts Contest is back! This year’s theme is “Diversity”. The contest is open to students in grades 5 – 12 who reside in the Town of Southampton. An exhibit and reception will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road which will feature all submitted art work. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Art Piece” in the categories of photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. Artists can submit a maximum of two entries. Art work will be judged on quality, creativity, and presentation based on the artist’s interpretation of “Diversity”. All art entries must be dropped off at the youth bureau’s main office in Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road by Monday, April 30th 2018.   10. Act TWO - Teen Community Theater

    The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is now accepting registrations for Act TWO. Through games and activities, participants learn improvisation, projection, public speaking, and issues pertinent to everyday life. Topics covered include making appropriate choices, acceptance, tolerance, bullying, drug and alcohol addiction, pregnancy prevention, etc. Skits are created and performed by students for other youth audiences. Act TWO is for teens in grades 7 – 12. Classes are held on Thursdays beginning September 14, 2017 and are held at the Hampton Bays Public Library, 52 Ponquogue Ave from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.   11. Band Applications Available! 16th Annual Battle of the Bands Competition

    Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 16th Annual Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 8th 2018(Rain Date: Friday, June 15th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 11th 2018 and can be sent or dropped off to:

  12. Register Now! Summer Days Program

    The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is accepting applications for their Summer Days program at The Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. This year’s theme is Science! Each week we will explore a different area of science through experiments, crafts, cooking and weekly fieldtrips. Program begins July 2nd and ends August 23rd and will be held Monday – Thursday from 12:30pm – 5:00pm. Youth going into grades 5 - 8 are eligible to participate - Proof of grade is required. Camp registration fee is $550/8 weeks (Price includes cost of field trips, lunch and supplies). Registration fee will be $500 per child if enrolled by Friday, April 27th.
