Water Quality Improvement Committee Volunteers Needed

Responsibilities will include the review and recommendation of eligible Water Quality Improvement Projects funded by the CPF, to the Town Board.


Interested individuals should have an interest in applying a systems approach to water quality issues, and have a professional background in at least one of the following disciplines:

  • Hydrology
  • Marine Biology
  • Ecology
  • Engineering
  • Waste Water Management
  • Planning
  • Geology
  • Grant Administration/Analysis


Projects shall be reviewed, ranked and recommended to the Town Board based upon the Water Quality Improvement Project Plan


The Committee is expected to meet at least once per month.


To be considered for membership of the Water Quality Advisory Committee of the Community Preservation Fund (CPF) Program, please send a letter of introduction with your resume to:  Mary C. Wilson, Esq., CPF Program Manager mwilson@southamptontowny.gov
