Alex Gregor the Highway Superintendent announces the following;

Please note that due to the storm that occurred on the 29th & 30th of October, Southampton Town Highway Department will be picking up storm related vegetative debris. Please note that this is for STORM DEBRIS only, we will not pick up yard clearing, pruning, whole trees, or stumps. Place storm related debris in a separate pile from leaves. Mixed piles will not be picked up. All storm debris should be no longer than 8 foot in length and 3 inches in diameter. If you have already picked up your vouchers, you may use them for either leaves or storm related debris. Please note that the transfer stations will not except mixed piles.

The start date of the Fall Leaf Program will still begin November 27th.

The amnesty program at Waste Management will still commence on the 15th of November, Residents may self-haul brush free of charge.
