HAMPTON BAYS WATER DISTRICT REQUESTS CUSTOMERS ADOPT THE ODD/EVEN WATERING SYSTEM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Due to increased water demand, customers of the Hampton Bays Water District are being asked to participate in the odd/even number lawn watering protocol. The measures are being taken as the HBWD enters its peak season.
Automated residential irrigation systems should be set to the odd/even days to help conserve usage. If your street address is an even number, you are requested to water on an even numbered calendar day. The reverse for odd numbered street addresses applies.
The HBWD is sending the attached letter to customers and it will be posted to the Town’s website.
