TOUCH A TRUCK

Touch-A-Truck Free Event

Date: Saturday, September 16
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Place: Hampton Bays Fire House, Montauk HWY

Children will have a hands on opportunity to see, touch and explore heavy machinery and meet the people who build, protect and serve our community. Explore trucks from the Hampton Bays Fire, Ambulance and the Southampton Town Police, Parks Departments.

Bus departs from Red Creek Park, 102 Old Riverhead Road, Hampton Bays 4:30 p.m. - Bus promptly departs
Fee: Residents $30 / Non-Residents $40

Participants will purchase their own admission tickets to the Zoo.

Join us for fun filled day at the world famous Bronx Zoo. With over4,000 animals, a children’s zoo, indoor rainforest, butterfly gardenand so much more there is always something new to see.

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Age: 16 - Seniors
Fee: Residents $240 Non-Residents $250 (8 classes)

This in-depth organic gardening series features all the basic skills and knowledge needed to develop a sustainable vegetable garden from the ground up. Course literature and all materials provided.

This course is a combination of classroom and fieldwork, be prepared to work outdoors during some sessions.
