For ages 16 - Seniors. Instructors are Rachel Stephens and Marc Fasanella (with additional guest lecturers). This in-depth organic gardening series features all the basic skills and knowledge needed to develop a sustainable vegetable garden from the ground up. Course literature and all materials provided. This course is a combination of classroom and fieldwork, be prepared to work outdoors during some sessions.

This clinic for girls K - 10th grade is led by college and high school coaches, it is designed so players can focus on their own lacrosse skills allowing coaches to give personal instruction to adjust even the most advanced player. Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention & Awareness month? To recognize such an important topic, the Southampton Youth Bureau and Southampton Town Councilwoman Christine Scalera will be co-sponsoring a bullying prevention & awareness program on Saturday, October 14th from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays. Key note speaker Nancy Silberkleit, Co-CEO of Archie Comic Publications & Founder/CEO of Rise Above Social Issues Foundations, Inc will speak on the roles of bullying and offer her expert advice for addressing the problem. Performances by the Southampton Youth Bureau’s Act TWO drama troupe and Lindsay Dunn, Hampton Bays High School Senior & Vocalist will then follow. The Southampton Youth Bureau will also provide free pumpkin decorating for younger ones in attendance. In the event of inclement weather, program location will be moved to the Hampton Bays Senior Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave in Hampton Bays.
