For ages 16 - Seniors. Instructors are Rachel Stephens and Marc Fasanella (with additional guest lecturers). This in-depth organic gardening series features all the basic skills and knowledge needed to develop a sustainable vegetable garden from the ground up. Course literature and all materials provided. This course is a combination of classroom and fieldwork, be prepared to work outdoors during some sessions.

This clinic for girls K - 10th grade is led by college and high school coaches, it is designed so players can focus on their own lacrosse skills allowing coaches to give personal instruction to adjust even the most advanced player. The Southampton Youth Bureau's Chess Club meets every Tuesday at the Drop Spot, 655 Flanders Rd from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Students are taught to challenge themselves, build self confidence, meet new friends, reduce stress, and learn strategy & discipline through the game of Chess. This program is free and open to grades K - 12.

If you are in grades 7th through 12th and interested in planning trips and events, doing community service projects, and making friends with students from other schools, then sign up for YAC! The Southampton Youth Bureau is looking for new members to join its Youth Advisory Committee, (YAC). As a YAC member, you can help make a difference in your community. Community service projects may include leaf raking for senior citizens, hosting a blood drive, meeting with elected officials in Albany for youth causes, participating in a sticker shock alcohol awareness campaign, or other activities that can make a difference in our community. YAC is a great way to get involved and to earn community service credit hours during the school year. Meetings are held every other Tuesday beginning September 19, 2017 at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Transportation is available upon request.
