  1. Red Creek Skate Park is opening today for the 2017 Season!

    March 24, 2017 - June 30, 2017 @ Red Creek Park Skate Park

    Red Creek Skate Park is a 15,000 square foot outdoor facility. It features an asphalt color-coated base, half pipes, vert walls, above ground bowl, and street course. There is a beginner’s area for those just starting out. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. *Proof of residency examples:Driver's license, Vehicle registration,Southampton Town tax bill. Annual Skateboard Park memberships and daily passes are available. Skaters under the age of 17 must have a parent/legal guardian present when purchasing an annual membership or a daily pass.

    The Southampton Youth Bureau offers students the opportunity to receive help with their studies every Tuesday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road.   2. Hamptons Chess Club

    The Southampton Youth Bureau is currently taking registrations for Hamptons Chess Club. Chess teaches youth how to manage skills, control impulses, delay gratification, and reduce stress. Learning chess can help build self confidence, gain a sense of community, and learn fair play. Students will participate in fun & interactive chess practices, weekly chess puzzles, and compete in chess tournaments. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road starting October 25th, 2016. Although the program is free, pre-registration is required.     If you are in grades 7th through 12th and interested in planning trips and events, doing community service projects, and making friends with students from other schools, then sign up for YAC! The Southampton Youth Bureau is looking for new members to join its Youth Advisory Committee, (YAC). As a YAC member, you can help make a difference in your community. Community service projects may include leaf raking for senior citizens, hosting a blood drive, meeting with elected officials in Albany for youth causes, participating in a sticker shock alcohol awareness campaign, or other activities that can make a difference in our community. Youth Advisory Committee is a great way to get involved and to earn community service credit hours during the school year. Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
