For ages 16 - Seniors. Instructors are Rachel Stephens and Marc Fasanella (with additional guest lecturers). This in-depth organic gardening series features all the basic skills and knowledge needed to develop a sustainable vegetable garden from the ground up. Course literature and all materials provided. This course is a combination of classroom and fieldwork, be prepared to work outdoors during some sessions.

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau along with Island Harvest is sponsoring free lunch to all youth ages 21 and under this summer. Lunch will be served July 5th – August 24th, Monday - Thursday 11:30am to 1:00pm. No proof of residency or income is needed, all youth are welcome! Youth in grades 5 - 12 are invited to have fun swimming, playing sports, video games, air hockey & much more at the SYS Recreation Center, 1370a Majors Path beginning Thursday, July 6th and ending on Thursday, August 31st. The pool is open on Thursdays from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and roundtrip transportation is available for $2 from the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd. The Southampton Youth Bureau will be offering karate classes at the Drop Spot, 655 Flanders Rd on Thursdays from 5:30pm - 6:30pm beginning June 29th and ending August 31st. The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Hampton Bays Public Library will sponsor two movie nights at Good Ground Park, 9a Squiretown Rd in Hampton Bays for summer 2017! The first movie night will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 8:30pm with a showing of “Independence Day”. The second movie night will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 8:00pm with a showing of “The Princess Bride.” Admission is free and families are welcome to attend!
