For ages 16 - Seniors. Instructors are Rachel Stephens and Marc Fasanella (with additional guest lecturers). This in-depth organic gardening series features all the basic skills and knowledge needed to develop a sustainable vegetable garden from the ground up. Course literature and all materials provided. This course is a combination of classroom and fieldwork, be prepared to work outdoors during some sessions.

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is currently accepting registrations for Chess Club. Chess teaches youth how to manage skills, control impulses, delay gratification, and reduce stress. Learning chess can help build self confidence, gain a sense of community, and learn fair play.
Classes will be held from 5:45pm to 6:45pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road on Wednesdays from June 28th – August 30th. Although the program is free, pre-registration is strongly recommended. For more information, please call (631) 702-2425 to register.

The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Wednesday Night Teen Nights at Ludlam Park are back! Teens in grades 7 -12 are invited to hang out and participate in numerous activities which include basketball tournaments, music/live DJ, soccer, baseball, picnics, games, crafts, and more! In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors at The Drop Spot, 655 Flanders Road. The fun begins Wednesdays, June 28th – August 30th from 7:30pm – 11:00pm.
