The Town of Southampton is pleased to announce the availability of 15 (fifteen) affordable homes for sale at Southampton Pointe, which consists of newly constructed condominium townhouses to be offered for sale to eligible households that earn 80% or 120% or less of the area median income. The homes will be located on Village Green Drive in the Town of Southampton, N.Y. The homes will feature 2 bedrooms and 1½ baths. The sale price for home is $233,375 for those qualified at 80% AMI, and $350,125 for those at 120%, based on 2018-2019 income levels established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These homes are being offered through the cooperative efforts of Fairfield Southampton LLC, the Town of Southampton and the Long Island Housing Partnership (631-435-4710).
Applicants must submit a lottery intake application to the Long Island Housing Partnership in order to be entered into the lottery. The lottery will establish the ranking number to submit a formal application to LIHP for review to purchase the home. A public lottery will be held at Southampton Town Hall on October 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Applicants do not have to attend the lottery to be placed on the ranking list.
A non-refundable $50 application fee is required.
