The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau and East End Thrive are now accepting submissions for their Creative Arts Contest! This year’s theme is “Hope & Recovery”. Artists are encouraged to share their interpretation through art of what Hope & Recovery looks like. Accepted art submissions include photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. The contest is open to ages 10 – 25 and artwork will be judged on quality, creativity, and presentation based on the artist’s interpretation of “Hope & Recovery”. All art entries (maximum of two entries per artist) must be dropped off at the Southampton Youth Bureau’s main office at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road or East End Thrive, 110 Mill Road Suites A & B by Friday, May 19^th. Participating artists are invited to bring their families and friends to attend the final exhibition at the Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane on Friday, June 2^nd from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Art Piece” in age categories of 10 – 13, 14 – 18, and 19 – 25.
