Please be advised that we will be performing essential bridge maintenance on the Main Street and North Sea Road Bridges. The project will involve abatement and painting of the steel and concrete elements of both bridges. Work is expected to begin around Monday, March 16th, weather permitting, and continue through Thursday, May 21st. Due to a seasonal moratorium between Memorial Day and Labor Day, all work will pause during this period and will resume after Labor Day, continuing through the end of 2026.

Crews will be onsite during overnight hours, Monday through Friday, from 9PM to 6AM. Full-lane closures beneath the active work area will be required; however, only one bridge will be worked on at a time, with the Main Street Bridge scheduled first. Detours will be clearly posted to guide motorists around the work zones and to maintain access to and from the Southampton Station.
