Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that the New York State disaster emergency, ordered in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has expired as of June 24, 2021. As such, the Town of Southampton will resume its pre-pandemic method of conducting public meetings.
Effective immediately, and pursuant to New York State Open Meetings Law, all public meetings of Town boards and committees, which previously had been using videoconferencing to conduct their meetings, shall resume live and in person at Town Hall.
Individuals wishing to participate in a public meeting may either appear in person, or submit comments for the public record to the Town Clerk at: firstname.lastname@example.org
