What is Dragonfly Day?
The New York State Legislature passed the resolution for June 9th, 2018 to be recognized as Dragonfly Day in New York State, and each year after that.
Dragonfly Day is an opportunity to hold educational events in New York State to increase awareness of the value of wetlands and encourage the implementation of climate change adaptation strategies and learn about how to reduce CO2 emissions.
*It is with thanks to Assemblyman Fred Thiele and Senator Kenneth LaValle that for Dragonfly Day an opportunity to educate the public and enact changes that will protect our environment.
