The stations accept a variety credit card payment options as well as mobile pay and several smart phone app options for online payments.
The growing popularity of electric vehicles emphasizes the importance of publicly available charging stations. To help address this growing need, the Town has installed EV charging stations on municipal property at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays and is planning for additional installations at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays and at Town Hall at 116 Hampton Road.
Councilman Bouvier added, “EV charging stations are becoming a critical component of our transportation infrastructure. These new stations are a step in the right direction.”
