On Wednesday, November 15, 2023 Southampton Town Police Department promoted a member of the Department to the rank of Detective and swore in three new members. Police officer Keith Phillips became Detective Keith Phillips as Captain Kalb officially promoted him. Part-time officer Blake Gifford was officially sworn in as a full time officer. Miss Ivana Hojok and Miss Maura Torres were officially sworn in as Southampton Town Police Officers and will begin training at the academy on Monday, November 20, 2023.
Southampton Town Police Department was honored to have Town Supervisor Jay Schneiderman, Councilwoman Cyndi McNamara, Councilmen Tommy John Schiavoni and Rick Martel and Town Clerk Sundy Schermeyer present for the promotion and swearing in of the new officers.
