[ARCHIVED] Shinnecock Dune and Beach Restoration Project Makes Progress

The dredging project by the US Army Corps of Engineers on the east end of Dune Road began last week and a bird’s eye view reveals they are already making considerable progress.

Efforts to restore the beach and dune on the east end of Dune Road are visible in this dramatic drone video produced by fireislandandbeyond.com.  The video can be found on the website of Patch.com Southampton.
