Southampton Town Hall offices will reopen to the public beginning Monday, June 8. During Phase One of the Town Hall reopening process, public occupancy will be limited, and the hours of public access will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The public will be required to call ahead to make arrangements for an appointment with a department within Town Hall. Town Hall departments will also accommodate conference call, if business can be effectively conducted in that way.
Call in information for making appointments or conference call arrangement during this initial period of re-opening are detailed on the Town website www.southamptontownny.gov . When inside Town Hal, the public will be required to wear a face covering at all times and to maintain social distance while waiting to enter and inside Town Hall
Mail and document drop off is available inside the lobby of Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4: p.m.. No appointment will be required. However, the public may experience a queuing line outside the building. Social distancing markers have been placed both inside and outside Town Hall.
Tax payments are accepted in Town Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary. Staff at the security desk will be available to assist.
The Town’s community centers remain closed although food services to seniors have continued throughout the pandemic related closure.
This initial phase of reopening can be expected to last at least to two weeks. Changing circumstance, of course, will impact that schedule. The Town’s website and SEA TV Channel 22 will be regularly updated to provide the public with the most current information about access to Town departments and Town programs.
