The Language of Gender

The East End Partnership for Youth will present "The Language of Gender" workshop which will be held virtually on Friday, January 29th from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Workshop is presented by Juli Grey Owens, Executive Director of Gender Equality New York, Inc. "The Language of Gender" will facilitate an open discussion of what it means to be a transgender, non-binary, or intersex person, create an understanding of terms and concepts used in discussing gender, offer personal life experiences to allow participants to better understand the transgender and non-binary community, and offer best practices to create a gender inclusive environment for youth. 2 CEUs for SW and LMHC available for $20.
