18th Battle of the Bands -

On Friday, June 11th, local high school bands will rock out at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays and compete for great prizes! Gates will open at 7:00pm and the Battle of the Bands will begin promptly at 8:00pm. Throughout the night, audience members will also have the chance to win prizes by answering music trivia questions. Admission is $10 with concession available on site. Tickets must be bought online at www.southamptontownny.gov/youthbureau no later than Thursday, June 10th. Space is extremely limited and admission is available on a first come, first served basis. Pre-registration is required – no walk ins allowed. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all current NYS and CDC guidelines will be enforced. In the event of bad weather conditions, the 18th Battle of the Bands will be rescheduled for Friday, June 18th. Broader Horizons Paid Internship Program

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is now accepting applications for their Broader Horizons Summer Internship Program for youth between the ages of 14 to 17. Broader Horizons is a program for teens who have little or no job experience. Participants are taught financial literacy and other critical job survival skills while working a paid internship at 20 hours a week. Positions are assigned through student’s interest. Summer STEAM: Superhero Science -

Can people really have superpowers? Is a spider's web stronger than steel? How fast can a human really run? Can we change our DNA? Join the Southampton Youth Bureau for a Summer STEAM session of Superhero Science to learn more through experiments and projects! Superhero Science is held Monday - Thursday, 9:30am - 11:30am at Southampton Youth Services, 1370a Majors Path. First session is open to grades K - 4 from July 6th - July 15th. The second session is open to grades 5 - 8 from August 16th - August 26th. Program cost is $50/2 week session - Space is extremely limited! Masks and social distancing required. Discovery Days: Mini Camp Series -

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be holding two sessions of Discovery Days: Mini Camp Series at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370a Majors Path. Join us for weekly themed field trips, arts & crafts, games & activities and more! Program will be held Monday - Thursday, 9:30am - 11:30am. The first session is open to grades 5 - 8 from July 19th - July 29th and the second session will be open to grades K - 4 from August 2nd - August 12th.
