The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will be offering several programs and activities beginning Monday, September 20th 2021 at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Space is limited and pre-registration is required! The weekly program schedule is the following:

MONDAY: Amerikids

The Southampton Youth Bureau's Amerikids program is an opportunity for young children in grades K - 4 to make new friends, learn social skills and bullying prevention, do homework, arts & crafts, have snack, play games, and much more! Program meets every Monday beginning September 20th at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

TUESDAY: Chess Club

The Southampton Youth Bureau's Chess Club is held on Tuesdays beginning September 21st from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd. Students are taught to challenge themselves, build self-confidence, meet new friends, reduce stress, and learn strategy & discipline through the game of Chess. This program is free and open to grades K - 8.

WEDNESDAY: Discovery Club: Space Exploration

Join the Southampton Youth Bureau's Discovery Club for a STEAM session of Space Exploration and learn about the planets in our Solar System through games and activities! Discovery Club is held every Wednesday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm (September 22nd - October 27th) at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Program is open to grades K - 4 and cost is $25/6 sessions.

THURSDAY: Karate

The Southampton Youth Bureau offers Karate classes at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd every Thursday from 5:30pm - 6:30pm beginning September 23rd. Classes are taught by international coach & instructor Falah Kanani. Program is open to ages 5 – 12 and the cost is $80/month - sibling discounts are available upon request. FRIDAY: TGIF It’s Fri-YAY!

Join the Southampton Youth Bureau every Friday from September 24th - December 17th for games & activities, sports, indoor and outdoor movie nights, video game tournaments and more! Open to grades K – 4 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm and grades 5 - 8 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. Program is free!

FRIDAY: Basketball Clinic at SYS 

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be sponsoring a Basketball Clinic at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370a Majors Path every Friday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm (September 24th – November 19th). Clinic is open to grades 7 - 12 and cost is $25/9 sessions. Limited transportation is available from the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Bus will leave at 4:15pm and will return at 7:30pm.

Zombie Run at SYS 

Chase through obstacles to escape the Zombie Apocalypse! On Friday, October 15th, the Southampton Youth Bureau will be sponsoring a Zombie Run at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370a Majors Path in Southampton from 7:30pm – 10:00pm. Basketball, Volleyball, and Halloween crafts will also be available throughout the night. Admission is $15 and transportation may be available. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 13th – First come, first served! COVID-19 protocols will be in place. For more information or to register, please call (631) 702-2425.
