Keeping Every Child Safe Workshop

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting a “Keeping Every Child Safe” workshop (in Spanish) on Saturday, April 30^th from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. This workshop is open to parents/guardians who want to learn proven facts and strategies about how to keep children safe from abuse and bullying. Attendees will also be able to practice easy techniques to better protect children from emotional problems. Free childcare and snacks will be provided. Band Applications Now Available for the 19th Battle of the Bands -

Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 19^th Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 10^th (Rain Date: Friday, June 17^th) from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 13^th 2022 and can be sent or dropped off to: BATTLE OF THE BANDS – YOUTH BUREAU, Southampton Youth Bureau, 655 Flanders Road, Flanders, NY 11901. Band applications and demo music may also be emailed to Peter Strecker at pstrecker@southamptontownny.gov. Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast for all ages on Saturday, May 14^th from 8:30am – 11:30am at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Breakfast is $10/person at the door OR individuals can pre-register online at www.southamptontownny.gov/YBpayment for $5/person or $15/family up to four.
