Open Mic Night at Hampton Coffee Company -

The Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting their next Open Mic Night on Friday, February 10^th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Hampton Coffee Company, 749 County Road 39a in Southampton. If you’re in grades 5 – 12, come on out to share your talent! Acoustic performers, karaoke, spoken word, poetry and comedic acts are all welcome to participate. Discovery Club:

Superhero Science - Join the Southampton Youth Bureau's Discovery Club for a STEAM session of Superhero Science! Can People Fly? Is it possible to have super human strength? Can spiderwebs support the weight of a person? Join us as we learn through experiments and projects! Discovery Club is held on Wednesdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm (February 8^th – April 26^th) at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Program is open to grades K - 4 and the cost to attend is $25/10 sessions (No class on Feb. 22^nd & April 12^th). Space is limited and pre-registration is required! Winter Break Schedule at the Flanders Youth Center

The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Winter Break Schedule at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road has just been announced! Join us for the following programs:
 
Wed, Feb. 22^nd from 4:30pm – 7:30pm: Hands-on science fun with the Long Island Science Center. Admission is $20. Program is open to grades K – 4. 

Thurs, Feb. 23^rd from 4:30pm – 7:30pm: Among Us Live Action Game Night & Video Game Tournament – Pizza will be provided! Program is free & open to grades 5 – 8.

Fri, Feb. 24^th from 4:30pm – 7:30pm: Chocolate Making Class with Chef Steve Amaral from North Fork Chocolate Company – Dinner & a Movie to follow. Admission is $10. Program is open to grades 5 – 8.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament -

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will be hosting their annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370A Majors Path in Southampton. Sign-in and warm up drills will be held from 6:00pm – 6:45pm. Tournament is open to grades 5 – 12 and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in middle and high school brackets. Space is limited and team pre-registration of $30 is required by Monday, March 27, 2023. Each team member must submit a completed registration form along with payment ($10.00/player) to the Southampton Youth Bureau located at 655 Flanders Road, Flanders, NY 11901 OR by registering and paying $10.00/player online at
www.southamptontownny.gov/YBpayment.

Band Applications Now Available! 20^th Anniversary Battle of the Bands - 

Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 20^th Anniversary Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 9^th (Rain Date: Friday, June 16^th) from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 12^th 2023 and can be sent or dropped off to: BATTLE OF THE BANDS – YOUTH BUREAU, Southampton Youth Bureau, 655 Flanders Road, Flanders, NY 11901. Band applications and demo music may also be emailed to Peter Strecker at pstrecker@southamptontownny.gov.

Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians.
