East End Partnership for Youth presents

‘Darkness to Light’
Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

Training on Monday, April 24th from 10am – 12:30pm at the Riverhead Free Library, 330 Court Street


Recommended for parents, and community service organizations and professionals working with youth. This training is FREE and CEU’s are available for nurses & social workers. Space is limited so register early.

Video Game Tournament

@ Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Registration starts at 10:30am – Event starts at 11am SHARP.

 

Winners will be entered to win a new gaming console, courtesy of the Hampton Bays Public Library Teen Center. Additional prizes will also be awarded in each bracket. Admission is $5 and tournament is open to grades 5 – 12.

Contest theme is “Spring” and is based on 3 categories: cupcakes, cookies, and muffins. Entries will be judged on consistency, flavor and presentation by notable bakers Councilwomen Christine Scalera and Julie Lofstad, and Beach Bakery Owner Simon Jorna. Prizes will be awarded! Registration has been extended until Wednesday, April 26th. Bakers and their entries must be present by 2:30pm on Saturday, April 29th. For Grades 5-12.”

Creative Arts Contest

“Creative Arts Contest”.
This year’s theme is “Kindness”.

Submission Deadline for Entries is April 24

An exhibit and reception will be held on Saturday, May 6th 2017 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Ln which will feature all submitted art work. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Art Piece” in the categories of photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. All art entries must be dropped off at the youth bureau’s main office in Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road by Monday, April 24th 2017. Open to grades 5 – 12.

Band Applications Now Available!
15th Annual Battle of the Bands


 This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 9th 2017(Rain Date: Friday, June 16th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 12th 2017. Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians
