5th Annual Hamptons Got Talent Competition

Friday, March 2nd from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Hampton Bays High School, 88 Argonne Road E.


19 local youth in middle & high school will showcase their talents and compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. This year’s performers include original songwriters, vocalists, dancers and dance groups. Throughout the night, audience members will have the chance to win giveaways and vote for a People’s Choice Award. Special Guest, Matt White, will MC this year’s competition. Matt is a singer/songwriter who has reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Chart. He has also written songs and toured with big names such as Ed Sheeran.


Admission is $10 and all are welcome!

Open to grades 5th – 12th

Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in middle and high school brackets. Proof of age is required.
Pre-register by Thursday, March 22nd for $15/team
or register at the door from 6:00pm – 6:45pm
for $30/team. Space is limited so pre-register early!
 
2018 Community Service Challenge

2018 Community Service Challenge

Applications are due March 19, 2018


Southampton Youth Bureau, through the Youth Advisory Committee, is offering small community service grants to Southampton Town youth groups. Applications may be submitted for up to $500 to support a community service project that will benefit others in Southampton Township. A total of $2,500 will be awarded through this grant program. Grants will be awarded by April 13, 2018, and projects must be completed by November 30, 2018.

Bake Yourself Happy Baking Competition

This year’s theme is "Keep Southampton Beautiful"
Saturday, April 14th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
 

Competition is open to grades 5 – 12. Exhibit & judging on home baked goods will be held on Saturday, April 14th from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Entry categories are cupcakes, cookies, and muffins. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries.

Creative Arts Contest

Creative Arts Contest – Exhibit & Reception Saturday, May 12th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd


This year’s theme is “Diversity”. Contest is open to grades 5 – 12 and prizes will be awarded to “Best Art Piece” in the categories of Photography, Graphic Art, Sculpture, and Free-Hand.

Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 16th Annual Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 8th 2018 (Rain Date: Friday, June 15th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 11th 2018 and can be sent or dropped off to: BATTLE OF THE BANDS – YOUTH BUREAU, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, NY 11968 or emailed to: southamptonyouthbureau@gmail.com.

*Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians.*
