Low-Moderate Income

2. Do I have to be LMI in order to be eligible for the program?

No

3. If I am LMI qualified, will I be prioritized?

Applicants who qualify as Low-Moderate Income (LMI) will have priority in the lottery ranking. 

4. Can renter apply?

Yes, all year-round residents who have a PSEGLI account in their name can apply, but only one application per household.

5. What happens if I change my name?

The applicant’s name must be the same as the name on the PSEGLI bill or statement. 

6. Is a there a cost to this program?

There is no charge to apply, nor is there any fee associated with the benefits this program provides.

7. Who is eligible?

Any homeowner, renter or small business with a residential PSEGLI account in the Town of Southampton.

8. What does HUD stand for?

Housing and Urban Development.

9. What does CDG stand for?

Community Distributed Generation.
