6. Please sign Bills A.08936 and S.06868 into law. Everywhere in New York State outside the LIPA region, electric utilities are subject to the oversight of the public service commission. But not here on Long Island. Several of our Town Boards on the east end of Long Island have adopted memorializing resolutions in support of this legislation. We the undersigned respectfully request that you sign the legislation that will strengthen oversight of LIPA.
