  2. Builders' Workshop STEM Camp

    July 23, 2019, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

    The Southampton Youth Bureau's Builders' Workshop STEM Camp is a great way to learn how to build, create, invent, problem solve, and have fun! Sessions will be held at Southampton Youth Services (SYS) from July 15th - July 19th (For grades going into 2 - 4) and July 22nd - July 26th (For grades going into 5 - 8).     The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Chess Club will be held every Tuesday from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd beginning July 2nd and ending on July 30th. Chess teaches youth how to manage skills, control impulses, delay gratification, and reduce stress. Learning chess can help build self-confidence, gain a sense of community, and learn fair play.
