Discovery Club: Space Exploration

Join the Southampton Youth Bureau's Discovery Club for a STEAM session of Space Exploration! Explore the planets in our solar system as we learn through games, activities, experiments and projects. Discovery Club is held on Wednesdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm (September 13th – December 20th) at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Program is free and open to grades K - 4 (No class on November 22nd). Space is limited and pre-registration is required! Youth and Government

Registration is now open for The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau’s “Youth and Government” program. Youth & Government is sponsored by the Alliance of NYS YMCAs and is a national program that involves teens in state-organized, model-government programs. Students in grades 9 - 12 will have the opportunity to practice experiential civic engagement and learn about the democratic process. Youth will discuss and debate issues that affect citizens of New York State and will get a chance to deliberate in the chambers of the NYS Legislature at a state conference in Albany. The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Youth & Government program begins Wednesday, October 4th. Meetings will be held the first and third Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue.
