Please see attached for a Declaration of a State of Emergency from Supervisor Moore due to predictions from the National Weather Service for a winter storm to impact our area. The storm is expected to bring snowfall in excess of five inches, which is also predicted to be accompanied by gusty winds. There is an expectation that this event will lead to hazardous roadway conditions due to the possibility of slippery surfaces and reduced visibility. Residents are encouraged to stay off the roads to allow our dedicated crews from the Highway Department, Parks Department and Municipal Works to effectively perform snow removal activities. In an effort to further encourage this, all Town facilities, including transfer stations, will be closed on February 13, 2024.
