Posted on: December 18, 2023[ARCHIVED] EMERGENCY DESIGNATION OF SHELLFISH LANDS IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK AS UNCERTIFIED FOR THE HARVEST OF
The extremely heavy rainfall and stormwater runoff from12/17/23-12/18/23, has resulted in conditions which may cause shellfish to be hazardous for use as food. Temporarily closing the following areas noted below to the harvest of shellfish.
