On Tuesday, March 4th, Town Councilmembers Michael Iasilli and Cyndi McNamara dropped off over 100 items collected throughout the period of January 21st to February 28th to support Heart of the Hamptons. Both Councilmembers kicked off the new year with a drive to collect non-perishables and clothing for families facing economic and food insecurity through the winter months. Heart of the Hamptons works tirelessly each and every day to support working people and families in the town struggling to put food on their tables and maintain adequate clothing for their children. As the high cost of living in Southampton impacts vulnerable communities, it is more critical than ever that we continue to draw attention to raising awareness and help our neighbors through community-driven efforts.
We appreciate all those who dropped off a donation; whether it was a box of cereal or a coat, your donation will help go to someone who needs it most. A special appreciation to Heart of the Hamptons for all they do.
