THURSDAY, APRIL 19th  
Scalera Brings 2nd “AGZA Green Zone” to Southampton Town Hall 
with Ribbon Cutting and Equipment Demonstration Day    


WHAT: Councilwoman Christine Scalera will be joined by the Towns Parks Department, local landscape companies, residents and local elected officials to celebrate the dedication of the 2nd certified AGZA Green Zone® in the Town of Southampton and the eastern United States at Southampton Town Hall. The event will also feature an equipment demonstration for local landscape companies.

WHEN:THURSDAY APRIL 19 at 9:00 a.m (raindate Friday April 20 at 9 am)

WHERE:Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road

WHY: The project, led by Councilwoman Scalera in partnership with non-profit, Quiet Communities, and American Green Zone Alliance, will bring electric-powered maintenance equipment to Town Hall rather than the use of gas-powered equipment such as leaf blowers to reduce levels of noise and completely eliminate emissions at Town Hall including ozone-forming chemicals, fine particulates, and carbon dioxide. Local landscape companies operating within the Town of Southampton, have also been invited to the ribbon cutting and to participate in a demonstration of the electric -powered maintenance equipment by the Towns Parks Department
